The Rainbow Puppet Theatre Book: Fourteen Classic Puppet Plays
Estelle Bryer (author)
At the Rainbow Puppet Theatre, enter a world of beauty, wonder and transformation...
Puppets are a wonderful way of bringing stories old and new to life for children. Through the puppeteer's art, eternal truths can be conveyed in a way that brings life and healing.
This book contains fourteen puppet plays created by master puppeteer Estelle Bryer, many of them adapted for solo and tabletop puppetry by the team at Rainbow Puppet Theatre.
This is a fantastic resource book for Steiner-Waldorf teachers and parents.
Estelle Bryer has taught at the Constantia Waldorf School in Cape Town, South Africa, since its founding in 1960. She has been a kindergarten teacher, eurythmy teacher, and eurythmy therapist, and is now involved in teacher training. A puppetry pioneer since 1962, she has performed to more than three quarters of a million children. She is also the author of Movement for the Young Child: A Handbook for Eurythmists and Kindergarten Teachers (WECAN, 2011) and Advent and Christmas Stories (Hawthorn, 2010).
