With Barnaby Tobias and Iaia Chiesa.

On the 3rd Thursday of every month.

    Next dates: 18th July and 19th September at 7.00 - 9.00 p.m.

Join us in the bookshop for the sharing of poems of all sizes, forms and feelings, either yours or someone else's. Come, read and listen.

A casual event full of humour and sincerity, with a regular and changing crowd of all ages; young, old, and very old.

    Cash donations greatly appreciated.

  • Book Launches & Signings

Join us for book launches where we invite independent and established authors to discuss their new publications. We also host book signings linked with events in our theatre.

Previous authors include Simon Armitage, Ben Okri, Aonghus Gordon, Sean Macleod and more.

If you think our shop would suit your book launch and/or signing, please get in touch via email and we can provide all the necessary information:

  • Study Groups and House Events

All study and conversation groups take place upstairs, in the library of Rudolf Steiner House. The reading groups provide the opportunity in a very informal setting to explore Rudolf Steiner’s work with others. There is no need for any prior participation or knowledge, and everyone, young and old, is very welcome to join us at any time, just once or as often as it suits. We find that studying together provides a wonderful opportunity for the whole group to advance in knowledge and understanding.

All welcome, no need to book. Suggested donation at the door £3 / £2. Online events are currently free.
